A Year Ago Today...

A year ago today we got notice of our Final Decree and AIT appointment.

This little girl above, has turned into this little girl below. We are so proud of everything she has accomplished and we love her very much!

A year already! Wow! Congratulations! It seems like just yesterday you were setting off for your crazy drive to the airport. She is beautiful!

I concur...what a beautiful little girl! I know it has been a rough go at times, but she is so worth it! Almost a year home!!

Adoption Time Line

November 21, 2010 - Finally home! Our family is complete!
November 20, 2010 - Leave Taiwan for home.
November 19, 2010 - AIT appointment.
November 18, 2010 - Forever in our arms!
November 17, 2010- Arrive in Taiwan and Meet Meghan! Adoption FInalized!
November 15, 2010 - Leave for Taiwan!
October 26, 2010 - Received another update and pictures. We can't wait to go get her!
October 11, 2010 - Received word that we have our Final Decree! She is ours and we pick her up forever in our arms on November 18th!!!!
October 1, 2010 - We met our daughter through Skype! Also recieved new update and pictures!
September 14, 2010 - We heard news that our Court Hearing went well. Set up a Skype Meeting for October 1!
September 9, 2010 Taiwan Time (that's September 8th EST) - 9:20 am COURT HEARING!
September 8, 2010 - 2nd Care package received and she is very happy!
August 27, 2010 - Received another update! She is a lively, sweet and happy little girl!
August 26,2010 - Received answers to questions sent to Chung Yi.
July 29, 2010 - Received another update. She knows about us and is happy!
July 21, 2010 - Notified that first court date will be on September 9 at 9:40am!!
July 6th, 2010 - Received another update.
June 18th, 2010 - We have a name for her!
June 14th, 2010 First care package sent off to our sweet little girl.
May 30, 2010 - Dossier in Taiwan at Chung Yi.
May 4, 2010, Agency finally received Adoption agreement and another status update. Begin dossier.
March 30, 2010 - Received another update, no agreement yet.
March 10, 2010- Agency informed us that Chung Yi has sent our Adoption Agreement to county government for final approval! Received update on her.
February 2, 2010 - Received another update report.
January 26, 2010- Identified waiting child! Faxed agreement to adopt. Shes available and we will proceed!
November 2009 Homestudy to Taiwan. Officially waiting for a referral.
October 2009- HomeStudy completed
June 09 Signed with Nightlight
June 09- Decided to Adopt
