Adoption Update

Well, it's been a month since we received all our adoption paperwork from Chung Yi. We got everything notarized, authenticated and turned around in about a week and a half, then everything was sent back to Taiwan to be translated and submitted to the judge for a court date.

I have seen people wait 6 months for a court date...but I have also seen people only wait a month for a date. I am praying for a quick date and a quick judge.

Right now we are putting together a care package for our daughter. I am trying to complete a small photo album for her. We have 2 sundresses, and accessories of course, a pink teddy bear from Build A Bear, some coloring books and a blanket. Oh yeah, I put in a pink recorder (musical instrument) because the reports always say how much she likes music. One time it even mentioned that when "top class had flute she wanted to try". I have no idea how often they let her play with the things we send, the recorder may drive them batty. But, I do know that they keep everything safe for her and it is all returned when we go pick her up. Can't wait for that day!

So we just wait. So I guess we are just on final count down. Pray for a speedy court date for us. We can't wait to go get our little girl and bring her HOME!
