"Dear God...."

The other day I was driving Meghan to school.  This is always a teaching time because I have a captive audience.  Sometimes we talk about the latest issue, lying, or jumping in class or something like that.  This day I decided she needed to be prayed over as we drove to school.  So I said a prayer for her out loud, asking Jesus to be with her this day, help her make good choices etc. 

After I finished, Meghan wanted to say a prayer for me.  Her prayer went something like this: "Dear God, I love Mommy, give Mommy kisses, play with Mommy after school.  Amen."  

Then she said she wanted to pray for Daddy.  This prayer went exactly like this:  "Dear God, tell Daddy one penny is one cent.  Amen."
