God's timing is perfect! It never ceases to amaze me how at just the right time God acts to bring me back to his feet. I am amazed and awed at His work today. Let me back up.
Now that we have our court date, it has been hanging over my head to get these last few loan and grant applications completed. We are still about $14,000 shy of having enough money to complete this adoption. And the money that we have already paid has practically been begged, borrowed and stolen. We really jumped into this adoption process so quickly without having the money to pay for it but believing with all our hearts that this was something God intended for us. And we know that if it is God's will, it Will happen. We felt that God would take care of the details.
So here I was today on a mission to get these documents completed. I literally started working early this morning and didn't get dressed until 2pm, and then only because I needed to go to kinkos to make copies of the homestudy. Repeatedly I had written today that we were trusting in God to provide the funds. All the while believing that He would provide them through one of these organizations. About 6pm I finally finished. All I needed to do was get some things notarized and some things signed by Tom when he returns to town. So, we are driving to Chick fil A for the school swim team fundraiser when I get an email from Tom saying he had a God moment today. I couldn't open my email because I was driving so I called him. He said that he had received a phone call from his old employer (over 3 years ago) and that he was going to be wired a check for $16,000 this week. The final sale of the company had been completed and this last little amount was owed to Tom.
I can't believe God's perfect timing. This last bit of money has been tied up for 3 years. God chose today to release it. We didn't even know we were owed it. Thank you God. Once again you have affirmed my belief that this adoption is exactly what you want for our family. You are so good!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and encouraging me! I look forward to following along with yours.
ReplyDeleteThat definitely was a God moment and what a blessing! Now you can take some of that pressure off your heads trying to figure out where the money will come from! He had it planned all along.
