Well, our house guests left last night and I am exhausted. We had a STAYcation in Hilton Head. But we might as well have gone away because we were on Vacation from everything (we did however, manage to make it to church I am happy to say). So now it's back to the end of summer rush. Get the school clothes, school supplies, finish the summer reading ...hurry hurry hurry. School starts next week.
About the adoption, still waiting for the court date. I keep hoping that maybe there was a translation error and the date was August 9 not September 9. But I know that is just wishful thinking. It is getting really hard to see people who were behind us in the process jump ahead of us. One was behind us in getting her documents to Taiwan but she already has fer first decree! How can that be????? Not only did she get her court date over a month ahead of us, but the judge already ruled!! I want to jump up and down and yell NOT FAIR! But I know in my heart that bringing Meghan home to our family is God's plan. And God is in charge. His plans are to help us not hurt us and if I just let Him take care of everything it will all work out. Help me to be faithful.
Hi! Thanks for commenting on my blog...it's nice to "meet" you! Sounds like we are in the same boat...but God will work out the details in His perfect time. The confirmations such as your financial "surprise" are such an added blessing during this time of waiting. Be encouraged, as you have encouraged me!
